About Me

Michael founded Balance Coaching in 2021 to address the rising desire among business leaders to excel in their careers while leading meaningful and balanced lives. He values partnering with people who strive to develop skills to adapt, grow, and master the challenges they encounter in today’s dynamic and rapidly changing work environment. Michael leverages his entrepreneur and leadership experience to work with teams across asset management, fintech, health tech, and food tech. He is passionate about incorporating mindfulness into leadership and removing cognitive bias from decision-making.

Siminoff has worked at the intersection of asset management and fintech for over 20+ years. As the founder & CEO of VC-backed Madrone, he built the company from idea to exit, creating analytics solutions for institutional investors. Prior to Madrone, he held executive positions at Steve Cohen’s SAC Capital (Point 72), Guggenheim Partners, and JP Morgan. Michael volunteers with the Cook Alliance to legalize home restaurants in the US, is a certified UC Master Gardener, and is a regular participant at Spirit Rock Meditation Center. He lives with his family in Marin County, CA, and enjoys hikes on Mt. Tamalpais, paddle boarding, and cooking.
